Automated Parts Warehouse System

Case Study: Automated Parts Warehouse System
The machining production line of a component manufacturer includes a workpiece transfer and automated loading/unloading system, centralized cleaning and chip handling equipment, and an automated warehouse system for parts storage.
The automated warehouse is mainly used for storing raw workpieces before machining and finished parts after processing. The stored workpieces are made of AISI 304L stainless steel, covering 7 different product types.

System Overview
● Product Types: 7 types
● Stacking Height: 11 layers
● Horizontal Travel Speed: 0–120 m/min (variable speed)
● Vertical Lifting Speed: 0–30 m/min (variable speed)
● Fork Extension Speed: 0–20 m/min (variable speed)
● Maximum Load Capacity: 500 kg

Fast Delivery
Traditional automated warehouse systems typically require 6–10 months for delivery. STON Robotics’ integrated drive-control cabinet-free system reduces delivery time to as fast as 2 months.

20% Higher Storage Density
Compared with conventional 9-layer stacker cranes, the STON system supports up to 11 stacking layers through servo-driven gear-and-rack technology without wire ropes, increasing storage capacity by 20%.

Ultra-High Warehouse Structure with Heavy Load Capability
The system supports warehouse heights of up to 40 meters and maximum load capacities of up to 10 tons, meeting the requirements of high-density industrial storage applications.
