Automotive Parts Warehouse

Case Study: Automotive Parts (Brake Disc) Warehouse
A new three-dimensional warehouse was built for brake disc storage to enable full-process, data-driven, and intelligent management of inbound and outbound operations.
Leveraging STON Robotics’ hardware advantages and software capabilities, combined with extensive industry experience, a complete automated 3D warehouse solution was implemented to improve efficiency, accuracy, and storage density.

System Overview
● Storage Capacity: 6,540 units
● Stacking Height: 12 levels
● Load Capacity: 1,500 kg
● Operational Efficiency: 264 cycles/hour

Fast Deployment in 2 Months
Traditional automated 3D warehouses typically require 6–10 months for delivery. With STON Robotics’ integrated drive-control and Cabinetless Control System®, implementation time is significantly reduced to as fast as 2 months.

Increased Storage Capacity (+20%)
Compared with traditional stacker cranes (9 levels), the STON system adopts gear-and-rack transmission with servo motor drive and a rope-free structure, enabling stacking up to 11 levels, increasing storage capacity by 20%.

Ultra-High Building & Heavy-Duty Capability
Supports warehouse heights of up to 40 meters, with a maximum load capacity of 10 tons, enabling high-density storage for large-scale industrial applications.
