Semi-finished Product Warehouse

Case Study: Semi-Finished Product Warehouse
This project involves upgrading an existing semi-finished product warehouse using current shelving infrastructure. The objective is to achieve full process data-driven and intelligent management of inbound and outbound operations.
Based on its hardware and software integration capabilities, STON Robotics designed a complete automated 3D warehouse solution, leveraging industry experience and proprietary technologies to enhance overall operational efficiency.

System Overview
● Storage Capacity: 592 positions
● Stacking Height: 8 levels
● Inbound/Outbound Efficiency: 44 pallets/hour

Fast Deployment in 2 Months
Traditional automated 3D warehouses typically require 6–10 months for delivery. With STON Robotics’ integrated drive-control and Cabinetless Control System®, deployment time is significantly reduced to as fast as 2 months.

Increased Storage Capacity (+20%)
Compared with traditional stacker cranes (9 levels), the STON system adopts gear and rack drive with servo motors and a rope-free structure, enabling stacking up to 11 levels, increasing storage capacity by 20%.

Energy Efficiency (-40%)
The system adopts Glink-II industrial bus technology, achieving millisecond-level data exchange.
With high-speed communication and optimized control architecture, overall line efficiency is improved by over 30%, while system safety and reliability are significantly enhanced, and energy consumption is reduced by up to 40%.
