Digital Flexible Production Line for Large Tie Rod Components
The digital flexible production line for tie rod components covers nearly 100 different part specifications. The system is designed with two integrated automation modules: a machining gantry automation system and an automated sorting and line-side storage system.
The entire line supports mixed-model production of multiple workpieces simultaneously. Based on order analysis from the production control system, the line-side storage and sorting system automatically identifies, selects, and transfers parts to the machining automation area.
Subsequently, the gantry-based machining automation system loads the parts into CNC machines for processing. After machining, the line-side sorting system automatically classifies and stacks finished parts according to type and specification.
With coordinated scheduling from the control system, AGVs transport full containers of parts automatically, significantly improving logistics efficiency and effectively addressing the challenge of high-mix, low-volume production.
