Case Study: Cylinder Head Precision Machining Automation Line, Chongqing
This project is a digital and flexible cylinder head production line, enabling mixed-model manufacturing of multiple part types through carrier fixtures.
Various components are mounted on travelling fixtures, which are directly handled by truss robots, enabling mixed-line production of different specifications.
The line is equipped with manual loading and unloading stations where parts are assembled with fixtures. The system is fully integrated with an information platform; by scanning QR codes, the corresponding machining programs are automatically retrieved for processing.
The production line offers strong scalability. In the future, as long as machining capacity is available on the machine tools, additional parts can be introduced into the line via the fixture-based system, significantly improving flexibility and supporting future production expansion requirements.
